About us

Mission- The Sports articles on this site will focus on youth sports. I have also created a list of rules for parents to follow when at the game. Coaches, I have you in my sights too. If we all as fans obey these simple and humours rules, then everyone will get to enjoy going to the game. My objective is to get parents to send their articles of the game with any photos of the game to us. Then we process this information for you and post the article as our featured article. We do ask for kids under 14 that you only give us the first letter of the last name for identity reasons. I remember being in little league and seeing my name in the local paper. Our town got to big I guess because I do not see that anymore for youth sports. I just want to give the parents the chance to have their child in a sports article. A chance that is starting in my local town and spreading across the country. Every child deserves to have their moment of fame, why not a sports center moment for them.
About Me-
Darren Kaustinen: I played four years of college baseball for division 2 NAIA College. Enjoy sports and really wanted to give back what I think is lost in our cities, and that is the celebration of youth sports. This website is for youth sports in your local town. I started this in Hemet/ San Jacinto CA and want to see how far across the country this can spread. It is FREE for now and gives every kid a chance to be in a article. The sports parent’s will be able to print the article out instead of hoping to be mentioned in the local paper. You can create your own sports center moment for your child. The article can be from a tee ball game or throwing for the winning touchdown to go to the playoffs. Parents, this site is a celebration of your child’s achievements.
I am also looking for those people who like to write articles. My incentive is to soon offer a membership program of $25, $50, or $100 a month to post your own articles and have your own column on this site with you getting a small kick back per article you send. It you like this idea please email at admin@fan-code.com
How this will work:
- Send your thoughts about the game to article@fan-code.com
- I need the age group if under High School level. Example- city/league/ indoor soccer/6year old group/team name, in the subject box.
- For High School Sports- example: High School/frosh, JV,or Varsity/sport in subject box.
- If you want to send pictures or any video, I will post the name of the person who took the picture or video if they want to be recognized. I will only post a picture or video that is sent to me if there is a (first, last name). If there is no picture, I will replace that spot with the FCSN logo.
- No profanity in the article or Videos.
fan-codes. The code rules are a funny way poking fun at some of the behavior I have noticed at sporting events and have done myself. Enjoy the site and make sure to go to our FCSN store to get anything you need just by typing it in the search box.
